Aldo López-Gavilán

Cuban virtuoso pianist and composer celebrated for blending classical tradition with jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms. A Grammy nominee and composer of the acclaimed piano concerto Emporium, he has captivated audiences at some of the world’s most prestigious venues — from Carnegie Hall and Jordan Hall in the U.S., to Teresa Carreño Cultural Complex in Venezuela, Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico, Royal Festival Hall in the U.K., Nybrokajen 11 in Sweden, The Hall of Music in Russia, and iconic jazz clubs like Duc de Lombard and Petit Journal Montparnasse in France. His performances reflect both rigorous classical training and the vibrant pulse of Havana, creating a powerful and internationally celebrated artistic voice.

Daiana Garcia Siverio

Accomplished Cuban conductor recognized for her dynamic leadership and expressive musical vision. With a repertoire spanning symphonic masterworks, contemporary compositions, and cross-genre collaborations, she has led orchestras with precision, elegance, and artistic depth. Her work reflects a strong commitment to musical excellence, cultural dialogue, and inspiring new generations of musicians and audiences alike.

Orquesta de Cámara de La Habana

Distinguished Cuban chamber orchestra founded in 2006 by Maestro Iván del Prado and composed of highly talented graduates from the Instituto Superior de Arte. Under the artistic direction of Daiana García since 2011, the ensemble has gained recognition for its refined performances of both classical and contemporary repertoire, collaborating with renowned soloists and conductors and participating annually in Cuba’s most prestigious music festivals. The orchestra’s work has been celebrated with awards at the Cubadisco Festival and featured in recordings, while also presenting innovative programs that bridge traditional and modern musical expressions.

Rodrigo García Ameneiro

A rising Cuban pianist, composer, arranger, and producer known for his refined technique and expressive artistry at the piano. A multiple award-winner in national and international competitions — including top prizes that have taken him to stages such as Carnegie Hall — his work spans solo repertoire, chamber projects, and critically-acclaimed recordings like Generación and Cuban Soul. With a career marked by both performance excellence and creative versatility, Rodrigo continues to build a dynamic presence in the global music scene.

Espirales

A dynamic Cuban music ensemble founded in 2023 by pianist Rodrigo García Ameneiro, bringing together top graduates of Cuba’s Instituto Superior de Arte. The group blends elements of Cuban music, jazz, world, and chamber music into a unique sound that bridges concert music and contemporary improvisation, drawing on its members’ diverse experiences and international performances. Espirales has been recognized for its artistic excellence, including support from the Fondo de Arte Joven and international tours that include concerts and masterclasses in the United States.

Alejandro (Coqui) Calzadilla

Cuban clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator whose artistry spans classical, jazz, and Cuban music traditions. A graduate of the Universidad de las Artes (ISA) with the highest honors, he performs as a soloist with leading ensembles, directs the Lomarriba Jazz Quartet and the Palomonte Clarinet Quartet, and collaborates widely across genres. Calzadilla has appeared at major national festivals, contributed to recordings with prominent Cuban artists, and recently received support for his first album Vía D’Escape, reflecting his eclectic musical voice and commitment to expanding the clarinet’s role in contemporary music
